Why IS it that it takes 22 minutes of movie trailers and poorly produced commercials before theaters will actually START the movie you paid to see?
I like movie previews, but enough already. Three and out--can we just agree on that? We'll be back to watch more. We'll pay your prices and spend a fortune on your popcorn, but you don't have to DUMP ALL of the movie previews on us at once, 'k, Mister Theater Owner?

I totally get what you are saying! However, I have always been the one that has to be in my seat in order to watch the previews. I love the silent and sometimes not so silent whispers after a preview where someone either says, "I wanna see that," or "That looks stupid," or "Mom, can we go see that?" It is almost like you are given a glimpse into the souls of others...
And not only that, but if you are at the movie with someone you like....it gives you 22 extra minutes of being with that person and getting to know what other opportunities might present themselves...another movie night to see that one about that one guy at that one place, with you...you betcha!
I hear ya! After all those previews I forget which movie I came there and paid money to see!
