So I just learned that if you microwave ice cream for 25 seconds first, it's WORLDS easier to scoop out than bearing down on frozen ice cream with the scooper.
I've also learned 55 seconds is, uh, too long.
What cool tricks do YOU know?

Did you know that if you put wet newspapers about a foot under the soil in your garden you won't get weeds? Really...
And, you can use a damp cotton ball to pick up those teeny tiny shards of glass when you break something. Pretty cool, huh?
No weeds??? that's just cool. How do the flowers do?
If you squeeze packing peanuts at the right angle they explode out of your hand- it's really fun
If you put bread in with your brown sugar it won't clump up
If you say you like yourself, you will :) I learned that from a really wise old man.
if you bang the lid of a jar on the corner of the counter, it's easier to open (metal lids--it slightly bends the metal so it's off track a bit).
